How Tenet got here
I left Tinder in early 2021 to travel and start my own company. Dream Interpreter AI was soon making monthly recurring revenue, and it was growing, so it seemed I could keep building my career from anywhere. I also expected hiring a tech team to be cheaper in Asia. In America I’d probably have had to raise a lot of money, or grow very large first.
From Taipei, I hired a small team of part-time remote contractors, and later narrowed it to one full-time intern.
As AI tools got better, I found I could move faster on my own. These days I build by myself from Bangkok, and I’d only add people if I could work closely with very experienced product engineers.
